Squid stuffed with hazelnuts and almonds for the holidays

The most successful dish of these festive days were the “Squid stuffed with hazelnuts and almonds,” brought to the table on Boxing Day! …. could not be different, were a delight, tender and delicious!
The week before Christmas I was looking for a recipe for making these imaginary calamari which had decided to bring to the table, but there was something I didn’t like someone. …  This is always the biggest challenge in your kitchen, please all the participants to the table, especially for the holidays when it has often been in many!
The grandfather, who was a prisoner of the Germans during the second world war, does not like potatoes, eat only the white ones (though not very loving even those) while the other can’t even nominate, then it should be disposed of all recipes with potatoes; my mother prefers fish to meat and does not appreciate the tomatoes that are often paired with the fish! Thankfully not all are so demanding, my grandmother always like everything … and my dad likes things good with him is difficult I can go wrong!!
The solution was that I made up my own recipe, inspired by the thousand that I read in the previous days, and here’s the result!
If you want to try it, it is ideal for those who are thinking of fish brought to the table for new year’s Eve, of course … tell me if you like!

Thailand-Chapter 3 Curry curry curry!

Now we have gained greater awareness of this cuisine and its specialties, so in the days following the gastronomic itinerary we venture to order different dishes from the usual rice or noodles, we run clinical trials and we tried soups; King prawns with tamarind; shells unspecified, immediately sent it back because it impossible to eat because you want to open one by one with your fingernails and sea flavor too strong, but the real find were the curries, unlike the first time we came in Thailand (when probably eat them in a wrong place) and there seemed bad, now we become true fans! Yellow, red, green, if done well, they are all delicious, you can pair them with your favorite meat or shrimp, mushroom and vegetable even ask.

Mustard Chicken and asparagus quicheLast night dinner at my house with a bunch of friends, for presentation in "company" of the little Lorenzo! Password salt cakes, first then sweet! Everyone has done something so everyone has done some work and the success of the evening was divided equally. The little Lorenzo was the first one to eat, but his dinner wasn't part of the menu! The great ate, between chatter and laughter delicious delicacies: savory cream puffs filled with mortadella (to the delight of parents Londoners di Lorenzo), ham and cheese crackers (made by Giorgia), Neapolitan potato cake (made by Simo m.), salty ham and ricotta strudel (made by Affa-Bella), nu-nu Bacon and asparagus pie (made by Simo s. for the first time in the kitchen) chicken and asparagus quiche, hummus, mustard, onion tart-tatin (made by Affa-Tafi) and ending with an excellent cheescake (made by Monica s.)!!! … There seems little? After this beautiful convivial evening today I share part of my contribution to the evening!
